In the centre of myths, traditions and history, the former royal forest of Polidendri (with an area of 35.000 acres) invites its visitors to take part in a romantic "journey" to the lush Mavrovouni. The guides will accompany you on the trek from the Church of Panagia, on a farely easy route. During this route you will be able to observe specific species of flora and fauna and enjoy the view of the coasts of the eastern Aegean Sea. We return on the same route to the Church, to continue our journey on the dirt bike road of the forest with mountain bikes and complete our route back to the Church of Panagia. * Duration of route: 2 hours * Duration of programme: 3-4 hours * Minimum group of: 6 people * Children must be: 14 and over * The programme operates: all year round. |
