Cross gorges on the east slopes of Olymbos, Kissavos and Mavrovouni. An astonishing combination of descending vertical cliffs and waterfalls with the use of hiking equipment (rapel) and swimming in crystal clear lakes for groups of up to 8 people. Some indicative beautiful routes: “Kalipso” gorge – enjoy the view, with friends or family, of the largest waterfall (70metres) of Kissavos in the extremely beautiful gorge “Kalipso” over the villages Kokkino Nero and Karitsa. Our experienced guides will lead you, walking through a lush trail to the foot of the waterfall for an enjoyable swim in the crystal waters of its lake. The return trip includes rappeling down waterfalls that reach 30 metres. Duration: 3 - 4 hours. The programme operates from May to October. *** For those experienced in canyoning, dare to cross the entire gorge with rapel down waterfalls that reach 70 metres. Duration: 5-7 hours. Ravine Kakoskala: a simple yet beautiful descent, suitable for beginners. Its waters are crystal clear and maybe the clearest on all mountains, compared to those of Kissavos. Duration: 3-4 hours. The programme operates from April to August. Rakopotamos Gorge: a beautiful journey beginning from Mavrovouni and ending at the Aegean sea, through lush vegitation, natural lakes and 6 rapelling routes down waterfall of 8-37 metres. Duration: 5-7 hours. The programme operates from April to August. Trekking – Kissavos Peak Kissavos is a mountain with two sides: the south - east side, lush with forests, and the barren, rocky north-west side, from where you climb to the peak (altitude 1978metres). We suggest you a part of the classic climbing route starting from the mountain lodge at Kanalos. Follow the signs 02 that lead to the Telephone station (OTE) and continue on the east ridge of Kissavos, hiking on a small slope to the peak. The entire route is well set down. You return on the same route. * Duration of programme: all day. * The programme operates: all year round. * Children must be: 8 and over. * Minimum group: of 8 people. |
